Laura is a graduate of Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, where she gained experience working with a diverse range of clients, including athletes, stroke patients, and seniors. She has treated various conditions such as head and neck complications (whiplash, tension headaches, tinnitus), temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD), thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS), and post-injury rehabilitation.
A strong advocate for movement as a key to overall well-being, Laura understands the challenges and rewards of an active lifestyle firsthand. With a background in horseback riding, dance, and rock climbing, she quickly recognized the vital role manual therapy plays in both recovery and injury prevention.
As a Registered Massage Therapist, Laura integrates rhythmic techniques, joint mobilizations, muscle energy techniques, and fascial work into a traditional Swedish massage approach, ensuring a comprehensive and holistic treatment.
She is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of Ontario (RMTAO).
Before becoming an RMT, Laura trained in Musical Theatre and continues to audition and perform when opportunities arise.
Fluent in both English and French, she is happy to conduct appointments in either language.
